Plants that I have Killed.

In Memorium:

Horseradish/Amoracia rusticiana . *Twice*. It’s a tank. Most people struggle to get rid of it. Not me! I’m over here paying for jars of horseradish like a schmuck.

Italian Bugloss/Anchusa something. RIP 2019 – 2021

Japanese Beech Fern/Thelypteris discursive-pinnata. 2020 was a rough year for everyone.

Blue Oat Grass/Helictrotrichon something.

Yucca/Yucca filamentosa ‘Color Guard’. I have killed this so many times it’s almost recreational. Soil gets soggy, it dies, I learn nothing, I do it again.

Creeping Thyme/Thymus praecox. Blinked twice and never saw it again.

Hibiscus moscheutos ‘Mocha Moon’ and ‘Azzuri Blue Satin’. I’m a serial killer.

Knapweed/Centaurea ‘Black Sprite’. Another one that I forgot about/misplaced until it was eaten by its neighbors and seen again.

Roses: ‘New Dawn’, ‘Penelope’.

Several expensive conifers that I was in no way qualified to be planting and caring for at the time.

Cardoons. Artichokes. RIP.

Lots of houseplants. I used to manage to kill aloes and jades routinely (stubbornly failed to respect moisture preferences). I can keep ferns alive outside, but not indoors.
